The Hobbit films continue to find new fans and influence filmmakers around the world.


For the digital release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey we engaged influencers in the Mom and Family, Sci-Fi Fantasy and Lifestyle communities to promote the first chapter in the trilogy by creating original sharable content and an exclusive embeddable blog app.


We had over 350 influencer partner with us to spread the word and it was so successful we went on to The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies with two outreaches. One promoted the digital release and the second outreach promoted the physical Blu-ray.


An original interactive map of Middle Earth was created pinpointing highlights from all three films and a quiz were readers could test their skills and see if they were “Brave Like Bilbo?”


This outreach generated over 450 influencer partnerships with almost 35,000 social shares and more than 90,000 impressions.
